About me
Dialogue with each other and a totally authentic approach without prejudice is what permeates every project I undertake today. It’s not enough for me to just tell what happens. Photography is a way to continue to know myself and the other. At the heart of my projects is the need to reveal what is beyond a first vision of things. I am interested in deepening it, interpreting it and finally making it visible. Always in a continuous state of dialogue and listening with the other. My goal is to offer, to those who take the right space to observe, new ideas for reflection on the most intimate aspects related to human beings and their stay in the world. The heart of my work is to reveal an invisible connection that I feel exists between the reality of things and the intimate world of each one of us.
After studying mechanical engineering, thanks to the photographic association Factory10 founded with my father, I started to dedicate myself to photography with increasing commitment. Photography is for me a tool to investigate the world around me in which I can mirror myself. My maternal grandfather, with whom I spent a lot of time in childhood, had already taught me to observe nature, to listen to poetry, to find connections between things. Over time I have developed technical skills that support a part of my daily photographic work, along with teaching in the field. To this, my personal search and the continuous need to evolve my view of myself and the world are added strongly.
